About Me

Mary D
A vocational bookseller in Melbourne, Australia, I have always had a particular interest in the crime fiction genre and have a personal library of some 2,000 crime novels. I prefer European and British crime to American crime, and have, for many years now, been especially captivated by the works of Scandinavian writers. I am the convenor of the unique Crime & Justice festival, held in Melbourne, Australia, each November. This festival combines discussions from the world of crime fiction, social justice and human rights. I am the owner and managing director of Reader's Feast Booksellers in Melbourne, Australia and have been in the book trade for over 30 years.
